1. Who we are
AttyFinders operates Connect My Case, an attorney matching service. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and are not a lawyer referral service certified by any state bar unless expressly stated. Using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or with any attorney.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States. You agree to provide truthful, accurate information.
3. How the service works for consumers
- You answer questions about your accident. Based on your answers and attorney availability, we may connect you by phone to one participating attorney licensed in your state.
- The service is free to you. Participating attorneys pay us a marketing fee; they do not pay us a share of any legal fee.
- We do not guarantee a match, that an attorney will accept your case, or any particular outcome.
- Any engagement is solely between you and the attorney, under terms you agree with them.
4. Consent to calls, texts, and recording
By submitting a case review, you give express written consent for Connect My Case and a participating attorney to contact you at the number provided, including by automated dialing technology, prerecorded messages, and text messages, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Calls may be recorded and transcribed for quality, verification, and dispute resolution; you will hear a notice before recording begins.
5. Terms for participating attorneys
- Attorneys must meet and continue to meet our Attorney Network Standards and accept the Attorney Participation Agreement at sign-up.
- Attorneys are solely responsible for compliance with the rules of professional conduct in their jurisdictions, including rules on advertising and marketing.
- Leads are paid for with prepaid credits: each connected lead uses 1 credit, and credits cost $300 each unless otherwise agreed. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable, and used credits are not returned for any reason, including short calls. If you close or delete your account, any remaining credits are forfeited and will not be refunded.
- Lead disputes (72 hours). An attorney may dispute a lead within 72 hours of delivery if the consumer knowingly gave false information (for example, a made-up incident, no injury, an existing attorney, or fake contact details) or the lead is a duplicate. Disputes are submitted from the dashboard and reviewed manually by Connect My Case using the call recording and intake answers; our decision is final. If a dispute is approved, the credit used for that lead is returned to the attorney's balance as credit (not cash). After 72 hours a lead is final and can no longer be disputed. Dropped, missed, or unanswered calls are not grounds for a dispute.
- Dropped and missed calls. A credit is used once a lead is delivered, because the attorney receives the consumer's full contact details and intake answers on the dashboard. Credits are not returned if a call drops, disconnects, goes unanswered, or is not accepted by the attorney, their staff, or their answering service. The attorney is responsible for following up with the consumer and for making sure their team or answering service handles every call.
- Each lead is delivered exclusively to one attorney. Attorneys may not resell or share leads.
- We may pause or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Standards.
6. Acceptable use
You may not submit false information, impersonate anyone, scrape the site, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The site, its content, and trademarks belong to AttyFinders and its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not endorse or vouch for any attorney beyond verifying the network qualifications we describe. Information on the site is general and not legal advice. Attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connect My Case is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any attorney. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.
11. Disputes & governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. You waive participation in class actions to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
